Anyone else get really annoyed when talking about TTC with someone and they just say "try not to think about it"? Seriously?! How can you not think about it, especially after you tell me not to?
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
This is precisely why no one knows we are TTC. I might bite somebody's head off after hearing that a million times.
This. Even though we haven't told anyone, because of the timing in our lives/marriage people are assuming now is the time. I've also gotten, "maybe if you just try to think you don't want it to happen, it will." Augh!!!

Yes. This is why I don't talk with people about it, unless it's my family (who would never, ever make a comment like that) or my teaching partner. He just looks at me sympathetically and doesn't know what to say, except for "do what you need to take care of yourself."
Have I mentioned lately how much I love my family and how grateful I am for my friends?

Yes it's very common. I love the, "when you stop trying it will just happen." or the, "if you stress out it will never happen."
Gee thanks LOL

I agree! I am far to mentally unstable to handle that with any grace!
