Glass straw 9 months later

The glass dharma straw I got when they gave them away on earth day...At first I wasn't impressed it was just ok but now  I find myself reaching for it more and more and am even thinking about ordering some more.

It definitely takes so getting used. I'm a straw chewer  so that's out of the question lol but other than that nothing bad

depends on how hard/far it falls. It's made of tempered glass like pyrex and I have dropped it a few times on tile and it hasn't broken. with that being said I dropped a pyrex casserole dish out of the fridge the other day and it shattered. But I haven't broke the straw yet lol

  • i have a non-glass reusable straw that i got years ago.  i use it when i get my "big gulp" from the cafeteria.  i went in one day and the cashier said "oh you are the straw-lady."  i guess they must talk about the crazy lady who brings her own straw.

    i like having the reusable.

  • I was nervous about glass but we use our SS ones every.single.day. Love them. And we only need 4 right now, I'm sure that will increase once the new baby is using them, too.
  • Hmm... maybe I should give them a shot.

    Where can I find one?

seriously??  and it gets clean in the dishwasher like that?  we had some lame novelty straw (plastic) that we stopped using because it was impossible to clean and it didn't get clean in the dishwasher..  do you rinse it right after using it or something?  i know when dh used the straw for sticky things like juice or soda or mixed drinks it was the worst
