I use non fat vanilla and put some blueberries, two spoonfuls of the yogurt a splash of milk and 3 frozen strawberries in the blender and make a smoothie. It is fine on my numbers and feels 'sweet' even though it's not. GL!
I was told by the dietician that I could have any yogurt as long as it was under 20 g carb. She recommended Chobani and they are really good. My #'s have been good even though some are 20 g instead of 15g.
I've had good luck with Yoplait Light, Dannon Light & Fit and Breyer's Light yogurts.... all are under 15g carbs
Ditto this... my nutritionist said anything "light/non fat" should be ok, but just look at the carbs. I got Dannon Light & Fit when I went cause it seemed to be the least amount of carbs of the options at our store.
DEFINITELY make a list cause I did the same thing the 1st time I went... I was like uh.... k I don't know where to start!!! LOL but I got a ton of ideas from the ladies here and from my nutritionist and got everything - I came home and DH asked what he was supposed to eat cause everything was low carb healthy stuff haha.
do you have trader joes by you? their Vanilla Greek Non fat is like ice cream! and it hasnt spiked me yet!
Unfortunately, we do not. There is one up in Indy and we actually went there last weekend and picked up a couple of things. I will put that on my list for next time though!
