I like Adelyn. Adalyn would be ok I guess. I don't like the extra d's and n's. This name has come up a lot lately and it seems there are a ton of variations so I imagine you'll have to spell it out for everyone no matter what spelling you use.
Well, that depends on whether you want the name to have a short A sound or a long A sound at the beginning. In the rules of phonics for the English language, the letter A followed by two Ds will have a short A sound (like apple)- A followed by one D has a long A sound (like Amy).
Adalyn is Ay-da-lyn (long A)
Addalyn is Ah-da-lyn (short A)
I prefer both the long A spelling and pronunciation. The extra D looks silly to me, and unless you want it pronounced with a short A sound, they have no place there.
Re: Suggestions on spellings please.....
First off, love the name. I probably prefer Adalyn.

Depends on how you want it pronounced.
If you want it pronouced Ay-dah-lynn... then go with Adalyn.
If you want it pronouced A-dah-lynn... then go with Adelyn.
Not a fan of the double Ds for no reason.

I like the spelling - Adelyn
Not necessarily. I know Madeline's who pronounce it Mad-uh-lynn.
Just please do not use the two d's. It looks more mispelled and made-up the more I see it.

My daughter's name is Adalynn. We pronounce it Add-a-lynn. Addie for short.
