The Medela Freestyle is $379 at BRU and Buy Buy Baby; I found it for $349 on Amazon, but it's $299 here. Other models are similarly priced. You have to email them for pricing info, though.
Check the lactation programs at the hospitals where you are delivering as well. I got a deeply discounted freestyle from mine, plus a 10% off coupon they gave me.
What is the difference between the Freestyle and Pump in Style? You know, besides the $100.00 price difference.
The Freestyle is the hands-free model.
Can't you make most Double Pumps hands-free though with a tube top thing?
Yes, you probably could. The mommygear site I referenced above has regular Medela double pumps too, I think. With a tank top from Target you could probably make that work!

I understand from folks that have the Freestyle that it is much smaller than the PIS, and can be put in a regular diaper bag/purse (you don't have to lug around the big bag the PIS comes with).

Or just by letting them hang there..lol! Maybe a pillow propped up would be better.

This is what I did.
