  I invested in a steam mop.  Just add water.  It rocks!  Plus my floors aren't sticky like Swiffer made them.  Might be worth looking into for you, depending how much you spend on them.  My mop was $79 and I had a 20% off coupon.

  Hmm I never thought of it..can you use it on the fake hardwood stuff? Is it a cloth that you throw in the washer after every use?

  Target makes a generic brand. I think they are about $1 cheaper but I didn't find them to work as well for some reason. They are a bit drier too.

  Yep.  You can use the steam mop on your hardwoods (makes them sooooo clean without any cloudy buildup) and it came with 2 microfiber covers, so you toss one in the wash while you're using one.  Love it.  Here's the one I have....
