Even Church is mocking me

Ok, so there's a couple of churches near my house, but one of them I pass by twice a day EVERY day on my way to/from work.  It's got one of those marque signs out front where they can post their hours, or a message or whatever.  DH & I are not church people, but i thought the point of these signs was supposed to either allude to what the sermon is going to be about, or to draw people in.  Anyhow, the message board was changed a little over a week ago.  The new message reads:  Ten Fingers, Ten Toes, Glorious miracle, Gift from God.  Not only does it make me sad every time i pass it, I don't get why their sign says JUST that.

    How very odd... you're right it IS mocking  you ;)  Maybe you should figure out a different message and rearrange the letters in the dead of night.

    I never thought about it being a pro-life type statement.  But it's one of those cheaper signs (no glass case around it), so if I could think of something clever enough I COULD change it ;)

    Sounds like a Pro life message to me.  

    I would find it upsetting too.  I'm pro-life but really don't need to be reminded of my own infertility, or that others are out there destroying their miracle.  

    I attend church and almost every Sunday I walk out afterwards feeling a little bitter about something said or done.  

     Sorry that you have to see that sign.

    Some churches celebrate "sanctity of life Sunday". This happens in January. I guessing that is what they are alluding to, so that probably is/was the sermon topic.

    Last week marked the 30th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. I'm sure it's a commentary on that. I'm sorry you have to see it everyday.
