What is the chosen word for your toddlers booty?

When you talk to your LO what do you say when referring to their bottom? Do you use..butt, tooshie, rearend?? Funny that I put thought into this, I'm sure..but MIL uses the word "bumpy" (how fitting) for her adopted younger children and I think that its kinda cute..and DH already uses that most of the time, probably cause he is used to it from his parents..

anyway....

my bumpy hurts from the shred today..really it does..

We say 'kolo'... haha that is the greek word for it and we speak both to her. But my SIL uses some weird word that I can't think of at the moment....

We just say 'butt'. My sister says 'bum' and her LOs (2.5 and 4) will correct anyone who uses the 'wrong' language. It will be interesting to see when DS is older to see if they'll correct him.

Usually butt or sometimes tushy. My mom says tushy and it kind of stuck.

Growing up we never said "butt", and for some reason it always sounds harsh to me to hear it coming out of a little kid's mouth. I was sheltered, I know.

But both "bum" and "bottom" sound so much nicer to me, so we're sticking with those.
