CD wash routine help

I have been playing with my wash routine to figure out how to get rid of stains on my CDs, and I need advice.  I have a stash of BG OS & AIOs.  I EBF, put the dipes in a wetbag, & wash every two days.  I was doing a cold wash and then a hot wash with second rinse.  But unless I soak the diapers for several hours, I find that I get stains on them.  I don't have any sun in my backyard during winter, so drying in the sun isn't an option.  Would you ladies mind telling me your wash routine that you've found to be effective?  And maybe which detergent you use?  Thank you!

Re: CD wash routine help

  • I have the same routine as you, but sometimes to get out stains I add a small amount of oxyclean free to the hot wash.

  • I was going to ask this same question. ?I washed mine this way the last time and got stains for the first time. ?The way I used to wash them was this...I would use a prewash setting and then wash on hot and two cold rinses. ?When I did it this way, they always came out clean. ?But I realized the prewash was hot and I don't know if it was using all the detergent or part of the detergent that I put in...anyway I changed it to what others were doing which is how you do them. ?I put them in the sun and got most of the stains out, but not all of them because I had to put them on the porch and the sun of course moves. ?I think I am going to go back to the way I did them at first and see what happens. ?I also changed detergent so it may be one reason but I don't think it's that.
