Panties for the Hospital Bag?

in 3rd Trimester

I know we want to pack some granny panties but...

I have been wearing low-rise during pregnancy as they are the most comfortable and I am a bit confused about what should fit me comfortably after birth with a big old giant pad.

What kind have you all packed???

    I figured I would mostly be wearing the mesh undies they provide. If not, I just packed a few of my maternity undies- they're big granny pants.

    You will want big grannie panties as the hospital pads are huge.  I wore the hospital's mesh panties for the first 2 days to fit both the pad and the ice packs.

    One pair of grannies.

    Just in case of whatever.

    I learned the first time to wear their mesh panties - comfy, breatheable, easy to put on, disposable, and enough there to hold the huge pads and ice packs.  Also scarf some for home.

    I'm bringing a couple pair of my microfiber hipsters just in case, and to wear home.  But I'm planning on living in those awesome mesh things--cause I love my undies and want to save them the trauma~

    i packed low rise and grannies and ended up wearing the grannies. They provide you with some mesh underwear but I didn't want to wear them home. Depending on how heavy you're bleeding you might wear the GIANT diaper pad home or you might be onto the normal heavy flow ones

    I have yet to wear anything but thongs during my pregnancy and am soooo not looking forward to wearing "granny panties!" I plan to wear the undies provided by the hospital, but I did pack some hipsters and boy briefs (like short shorts) for if I can't bear the things the hospital gives me. 

    I hope to get back in my thongs as soon as possible.

    Don't worry, you don't have to be resigned to granny panties!!    If you wear the hospital pads and the mesh panties while in the hospital, you don't have to wear granny panties:)    I wore regular underwear and regular pads for the way home, both times.    You may not want to take you favourite pay of panties, though:)

    like w/DD I will be doing Grannies again;  I ended up w/a surprise csect w/DD and thankfully I didnt have any low rise undies (something to think about);  plus w/the wonderful pads you'll be wearing for quite a while, Grannies are more comfy
