Ethan or Evan

Love these names but wonder if they are too popular. I thought I had my boy name set (Maxwell) and came across these two names. Thoughts?

They are popular. But Ethan is much more popular than Evan - at least in my area.

I like them both. Evan is one of my top picks for a boy name.

I really like Evan. We couldn't really consider it since my DH's name is Kevin and they are so similar. I like Evan and Ethan both better than Maxwell.

LOVE 'em both. Ethan is tab bit more common here - but neither are popular. I love Maxwell too - you can't go wrong with your choices!!

I obviously love Evan. DH liked Ethan but I wasn't sold on that name so Evan it was.

Ethan is way better than evan to me. I have a cousin that was horrible growing up ( well actually he is still in trouble all the time) so to me I associate Evan as a bad kid.
