Out of breath

Wow. I walked about 30 feet into the front yard because DH wanted to introduce me to the new neighbor. I am just catching my breath 30 mins later.  Could it be because Baby B is way high and squishing my lungs?

  • Yep, probably.  Also, your body requires more oxygen to support the babies.  My Peri told me being out of breath is normal.  Good times, huh?

A few weeks ago, I walked from my car to the lab to the Peri's office, which was probably 100 yards and I was so out of breath and my pulse was 135.  Sheesh!

  • Glad to hear its normal. I am allowed to be up and about for 2 hours a day, but i don;t think I can even handle that.

  • I think my max is about 45 minutes these days.  And then I pay for it at night.  How sad.

  • Yep probably. I would have moments where I couldn't catch my breath at all. Towards the end, just a quick walk around the block would tucker me out!
  • that was pretty standard for me starting at around 24 or 25 weeks.

    hang in there!
