ellen&jeremy:I was told no fasting - just to eat normally.
This!
I was told to eat normally but the nurse also said something about eating a high protein lower carb breakfast that morning before the test.
GL!
thats weird!
i was told to not eat after midnight and go first thing in the morning!

You don't have to fast, but as my doc said don't go eat at iHop before you test either.
I had a bowl of cereal a little before 8, drank at 10 and had blood drawn at 11.
From what I hear, if you eat a sugary breakfast (my doc says pancakes, most cereals, donuts, even some granola bars), you will likely fail the 1 hr.
Just a heads up. I have very finicky blood sugar so I'm going to be obedient and eat breakfast, but probably just eggs and grits.
