psa: Graco twin bassinet pnp

I called Graco because the description was lacking.  The weight limit for the bassinet feature is 15 lbs TOTAL, not each.  Hardly worth the money imo

  • sheesh! that's why we decided to go with the arms reach co-sleeper instead - it holds up to 30 pounds.

  • I wonder if they changed it - when I called them they speficially said 15 pounds per bassinet.  good to know
  • Good to know. Doesn't sound worth it they will outgrow it in in by the time they are like 2 weeks old.

  • that's really disappointing.. I thought it would hold 30 lbs and was thinking of getting one or two.. but now.. i'll definitely have to rethink my strategy!

  • no way! I bet whoever you talked to misread the information (since they are probably just reading off something when they talk to you over the phone on customer service). I am willing to bet its 15 lbs per bassinet.
  • I have never seen the twin one in person but unless there is an extra support piece that goes across the center (from long side to long side) or the 'mattress' pad thingee is really stiff & doesn't fold into 4 sections like the regular PNP, I don't know how it could possibly hold more than the regular one holds, as the regular one definitely started sagging when LO hit around 15 lbs. I guess if it is constructed totally differently it could but a lot of reviews said the babies started to roll toward the center once they got a little bigger which would make sense w/ a 15 lb weight limit.
  • Seriously? That's insane! What were they thinking? That's no different from their regular bassinet weight limit.
(We went with the Arm's Reach original too.)

  • we were told that it holds 30 lbs total, which is why we purchased it
