Almost 16 weeks pregnant - babies repositioning??

Hi ladies,

I just got back from my lunch break and when I stood up I felt this sudden (sharp) pinching/pulling sensation in my lower stomach - what I would assume is my uterus. I wasn't so much doubled over pain but it was like "Ahhh. crap! what is that??" a strange feeling for sure. The feeling went away pretty quickly (only lasted for 20 seconds or so). Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? Could it possibly be the babies repositioning themselves? I have a desk job so am wondering if sitting down all day has anything to do with it.

Any advice is appreciated...

    Ha- I had a moment like that. I actually woke up from sleep because it was so painful. Sure enough at the appt the next day baby A was head down for the first time. But I was like 29 weeks along. Babies are still pretty tiny at 16 weeks but it def could have been.

    Maybe some round ligament pain? I know I really started feeling it during the 16th week. It was scary but I think it was just the uterus growing and stretching.

    Sounds more like round ligament pain.  I had some times where i was doubled over from it.

    DD flipped on me at 33 weeks. Now that hurt!

    It was probably RLP. You probably just need to take it a little easier. No fast movements!

    I'm going to guess RLP as well.  My baby B flipped from heat down to up to back down in a matter of hours around 30 weeks.  I didn't feel her so while its not impossible thats what you felt at 16 weeks I'm going to say its doubtful.
