Hi Ladies. I am used to be on this site when I first had our first child Libby. She will be 3 in March, and we have been TTC #2 since September 2008. We had no problems getting pregnant with Libby, so I am totally overwhelmed with dealing with infertility. Thanks to DH switching jobs and health insurance, I can't pursue medical intervention until March. I am excited and scared to figure out what is wrong with me. If there is any advice you ladies have, I am about as naive as the come at this point.

I hear ya! We are on cycle 13 now and got pg first try with dd. Even my RE is stumped. going to try a post coital test this month to see is that will tell something! Good luck!
There are also some great IF books for "dummys" which may help you to understand basic steps in the testing process. Have you been evaluated at all?
Maybe charting for a couple of months could help you to know if you are ovulating. My Fertility specialist (RE) was not super keen on charting for extended periods of time. My charts showed that I would ovulate, so he liked to see 3-4 charts and thats it.
Sorry you are here and I hope you get some answers ASAP. My DD was born on March 21, 2007 and I have also been TTC#2 since Sept. 2008. I went to an RE in Sept. 2009 and just finished my IVF cycle. The whole thing is overwhelming. I went through stages (and still do) of depression, feeling sorry for myself, trying to look on the bright side. I will say that my experience with IF and RE is that it becomes all consuming and another job sometimes. Try to focus on the beautiful DD you have and make time for you and your DH. I would also read and learn as much as you can about different procedures and interventions. That helped me to feel informed and in control. These boards were also a big help!
Have you tried charting and using OPKs? My OB/GYN made me use the OPKs for six months to time things better before referring me to an RE. She also did an HSG through her office which could possibly be billed through whatever insurance you currently have.
Thanks for all the support ladies! I have been charting - this is my 4th cycle. I am pretty sure I am not ovulating, which is probably the reason we aren't getting pregnant. I haven't read TCOYF, but I have been meaning to buy it for awhile now.
Thanks again!
