Ready to know one way or the other!!!!!

This is one of the first months I know I did what I had to do to get preggers and I am just ready to know one way or the other. My best freind started yesterday so I should start the next day which is today. (we have been the next day for years so it uncommon I have not started yet) So I took a test and well.......it was neg. I just want to KNOW!!!!!! Am I going crazy or is this just a normal part of TTC!

Sorry to burst your bubble but usually negative tests indicate that you are not pregnant.

Also, basing your cycle off your friend's cycle is not really how biology works

It is very normal to have an off cycle every now and then. You probably just ovulated late. If you're trying to get pregnant, it is highly recommended to chart your basal body temp and cm on fertility friend. (you can check it out by clicking on the ticker in my siggy and sign up if you'd like) But charting will let you know what your body is doing and if/when you're ovulating. That way you also know when to test.GL!

Have you lurked on this board before? It's always good to check out other posts before posting...

First of all, that's awesome that your cycles have matched eachother's for years, but know that there will be an occassional off cycle that may go longer or shorter than usual. Usually this is because you've ovulated later than normal. Charting your cycles is always helpful. Check out fertilityfriend.com for tutorials and information regarding cycle length. If AF doesn't show after 60 days, call your doctor. GL TTC!

Not sure how your friend's cycle has anythng to do with your's. Are you asking us something? If your test came up negative then you are NOT pregnant. What are you looking for?

While your best friend's clock seems intact, you must be suffering from a broken one. Keep testing. Either you'll get a +HPT, or AF. If no AF or +HPT after 60 days, calls your doctor. Also, please do something to learn about your body besides basing it off of your best friends - that is the most unreliable method I've heard of to date.

You could be pregnant or you could not be. We have no way of knowing. Even if your cycles have ALWAYS been the same as your BFF, this can change. Wait a few more days and test again.

You just have to weight it out! And sometimes cycles can be unpredictable! BTW, you are from my hometown. I have lived in Nashville for about 13 years now, but still have lots of family there! Wow! First time seeing someone else on here from Covington!
