2nd Trimester

When will you start reading your baby books?

If you haven't started already, when do you plan to start reading to prepare for when LO arrives? My friends with babies told me that their bibles were "Happiest Baby on the Block" and "Breastfeeding Made Simple" I think it's too early for me to start reading now, but some of these are long and I want to make sure I've read them before LO arrives.

Oh- and today is the first day I"m wearing maternity pants, and all I can say is, "ohhhhh yeahhhhh"

Re: When will you start reading your baby books?

  • I started reading a few books pretty early on (during first tri), but found most of them to be crap.  In the last month or so I've found a few that I like and will be trying to finish a few others here in the next month.

  • Not sure.  My SIL gave me two books, I figure I'l start reading them soonish.  Maybe just a bit at a time.
  • I haven't brought any parenting books, I just have the pg books...I don't think I will buy any. My mom is only going to be 3 miles away and she can give me all the advise I need.
