I did my CD2 bloodwork a few days ago for our IVF cycle and it all came back ok except for my E2, which was 72. From what I've read, it should be under 50. My FSH was 6 or 7, totally fine. All of the other numbers were normal.
The Internet tells me that this can be indicative of diminished ovarian reserve or cysts. I had 50 antral follies, which is more than usual, so now I'm wondering whether some of them were actually cysts? I doubt it's an ovarian reserve issue since I've always had a decent amount of good eggs, but that's a concern, too.
Can anyone shed any light on this? FWIW, I do have PCOS. My prior two cycles, my E2 was 40 and 41 on CD2. However, the month after my failed IVF, they did CD2 bloodwork and my E2 was 71... and I had a cyst. I've even gotten a cyst during IVF #1 while on BCP AND Lupron.
I'm sooo afraid for my suppression check on the 13th now ![]()
