anyway, i was told that gel pads are a necessity when bfing bc you can put them in the fridge and they are very soothing.
recommendations on brands and where to get them please...

I used the Playtex soothie style gels kind and bought them at Target. I didn't need to refridgerate because they felt cool and soothing to the touch anyway. I tried to use them once nightly while the nips were healing and use Lansinoh gel in between regular feedings.

Also, I have some gel packs for freezing or microwaving. Mostly I microwaved these for engorgment or clogged ducts. They are just like normal gel hot/cold packs except they are round and shaped for breast.
