Maybe I will buy new furniture and repaint my living room so when DBag drops off Pumpkin and stands at the door looking in, my house won't look like his old house anymore.  Big Smile   Its time for a change.

    I've got a new mattress, and I am going to buy new bedding.  But DB will NEVER see my bedroom again, so I need to replace something he can see from standing outside the door. lol

    if stbxh weren't in jail and he actually went back to the condo we lived in, he wouldn't see ANYTHING.  I gutted the place 3 days after he went to jail and I decided it was O-V-E-R.  I even took the appliances and gave the mattress away to the moving guys so he couldn't live there.  BTW-my lawyer was totally cool with this even though it is technically marital property.  I'm the only one who ever made payments on any of it so I think its mine anyway.

    I'm glad to hear that DB won't be seeing the bedding in your bedroom and I hope that he finds the new couch very lumpy and uncomfortable if he dares to sit down!  (Okay, after he leaves, you can remove the toys out from under the couch cushions so that it returns to its comfy state for YOU!)

    Shelley--your positive nature and strength make me smile.  You are in a crappy situation but I have no doubt that not only will you, Pumpkin and Jackson survive, but you all will flourish!
