Feeling less movement?

The last week or so I have noticed that I am feeling less movement and its not as strong as it used to be.  Is it because they are losing room in there or is it something to be concerned about?

Re: Feeling less movement?

  • I would call the Dr.  I have been feeling consistent movement and it is getting stronger.  Less movement may be due to their positions, but at 26+ some weeks, there is still plenty of room for them to move around.

  • I started feeling less movement when Baby B decided to flip to feet down to match her sister.  It's possible that's what's going on with you.  But, as always, if you're worried ask your doctor.
  • My boys didn't move NEARLY as much as this singleton is - at some point Max's head got stuck b/t my pelvis and Luke's head so he didn't move much @ all.  And once they get big/strong enough to really make some movement, there isn't as much room.  However, I'd still ask the dr - they'll want to know any changes and will quickly check on things.
  • I would check with your doctor.
