Asleep with NO crying!!!

Woohoo!

We're not actually a sleep training success story since he still wakes up 1-3 hours after going down for the night and won't go BACK to sleep as easily as he first went to sleep and gets hysterical at that waking if we try to leave him in the Pack and Play, so we're still bringing him into our bed at that first waking...but it's something...baby steps, right?

And we confirmed that we (inclusive of me, DH and Toodle) are not at all ready for true CIO.

ETA: DH just told me I should update my post and let everyone know he (Toodle, not DH) just farted in his sleep. I can't stop laughing. SO cute!

That is something for sure! Yay for Toodle! I bet the more he gets comfortable getting himself to sleep initially, the easier he will get himself back to sleep in the night. At least I hope so : )

That's what we used to do - when he STTN until 5 am. Those were a great few months! Now it's more like 11-12 on a good night, otherwise closer to 9 or 10.

Eh...Sometimes we bring her in earlier. We try to stick the paci and do the shhhh thing but ya know sometimes (since we also both work full time) we just bring her in our bed. My mind changes but as of this moment I am happy she knows that if she needs/wants us, we will be there.

Yay! Yes any step is a good one! Your fart comment reminds me... Carter kept farting today and then would bust up laughing. It was the funniest thing ever.
