what a nasty day!

It was rainy, cold, gloomy. Yuck! On top of that little Drew is fighting his first cold! I was hoping we'd get farther before dealing with illness, but it was bound to happen sometime! At least it's just a cold. It's really disrupting his sleep though. The past three nights we've been up almost every hour.

Hope the week ahead is better - for me and for any one else having a nasty day! Thanks for letting me vent!

Sorry he's sick. It's good if it doesn't turn into anything worse - it helps build up immunity. I've heard some people letting their DCs sleep in a bouncy chair or their car seat as being elevated helps things drain. I hope he feels better soon so you can get some sleep.

Very nasty day, indeed!

DD just had her first cold a few weeks ago and DH or I wound up sleeping with her in the recliner to keep her head elevated - she moves around too much to figure out which end of the crib is the "head" of the crb. Who knew a baby's cold could be so exhausting?

Hopefully he'll be feeling better soon so you all can get some good sleep!
