I'm having mine tomorrow, too. The e-mail they sent out today basically said that we don't need a full bladder. It also gave instructions for providing proof of a 2nd trimester ultrasound, but that may just be specific to where we are going. I'm planning to get there a little early to pay for everything and provide paperwork, but that's about it. Good luck -- hope you get some good shots!

Unless your tech tells you otherwise, you do not need a full bladder. In fact, when LO was being uncooperative, I needed to go empty my bladder...and then try drinking water again!
I would say go in knowing that it up to LO :-) Ours did not go well the first time (hands in front of the face the ENTIRE time) and we were looking at another unsuccessful attempt for the first 30 minutes of the second try. However it turned out to be AMAZING once DD decided to turn :-) Bring water, orange juice, eat first (to get LO active) and try anything you typically would to get LO moving. It is OK to change positions or get up and walk around. Have a great time and do not be discouraged if it does not work; that just means that LO is showing a bit of a stubborn personality :-)
Drinks lots of water until your appointment (makes for clearer amniotic fluid and better pics), but you don't have to have a full bladder. Mine had me use the RR before our session began so I could be comfortable.
Our LO slept through the whole thing, even though an hour before (right after I ate breakfast) he was wiggling everywhere. So, make sure you have something to eat (or do whetever it is to get your LO moving around) right before the appointment.
And most imprtantly.... have fun! Enjoy seeing your LO, it's an awesome experience!

Those normally work because they have the name of the place you had them and look all "official." My place did not require any proof; I just had to sign something saying I was under OB care.
