Seahorse vs baby crack machine

Hi ladies, I mostly lurk on the boards, but I've been reading a lot lately about the seahorse and the baby crack machine. Both seem to get LOs to fall asleep faster. Is one better than the other? Any insight would be helpful as I have been thinking about purchasing the baby crack machine but now I am intrigued about the seahorse and wonder whether it works better.

    We have both for DS. The crack machine stays on all the time while the seahorse(which is awesome) only plays for 5 minutes. DS really like the rain sound on the crack machine. We also use the projection(which broke after like 2 weeks) kind of like a night light.

    Crack machine...WTH is that?  We have the seahorse, and while she does find it sort of amusing, it will not put her to sleep.

    Ditto!  I only use the seahorse occasionally though,  I find swaddling and rocking work along with the rain or ocean setting knocks her out for hours.

    I use BOTH!  I have the rain going on in the background and start up seahorse...that way when the seahorse is finished...the rain is still going.
