Pain Under Ribcage?

I just wanted to ask about this. For the past week or two I've been feeling like a pressure or pain under my rib cage and of course am short of breath a little as well. I know my stomach has grown a lot in the past few weeks but it seems early for me to be having this type of situation. Did anyone else have that and about when did it start?

 Thanks for your help!

Re: Pain Under Ribcage?

  • Mine comes and goes.  I usually chalk it up to a good jab by one of the inhabitants.

The shortness of breath probably won't get better as you get bigger.  I have asthma, though, so I already take drugs to help with it.

  • I have had it for a couple months now, and it's the worst when I am sleeping.  I am guessing it's just baby parts up under there causing the pain.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I have a baby in my ribs =/ Sometimes I don't feel him there and other times I do.
  • I have had this too since pretty much the beginning of my second trimester.  Every single night I have it, it never fails.  Sometimes it helps if I put my arms up over my head and try to stretch things out but other times I just have to lay down on my right side (the pain is always on my left side so it hurts if I lay on my left side).  I feel your pain though, it is soo uncomfortable and it really hurts!

Ditto all of this.  Since beginning of second trimester, and always on the left!!
