  I don't, but I'm in the same boat- hoping to deliver vaginally if both twins are head down, and they share a placenta.  I'd like to hear what you find out.  I think I've heard that there is a greater chance of cord prolapse with this type of delivery, but that can really happen with any vaginal delivery.  Let me know what you hear!

  my dr said there is a risk to baby b, but a small one... I dont want to take the risk even if its so small...

  I read about this and talked to my doctors about it as well.  There are risks regardless of how you deliver one or two babies.  Nothing is 100% guaranteed.  So even though there is a risk there's no way you can get both babies out w/out some degree of risk and of course if you leave the babies in that gets risky too.  Make sense?  Really its about what you and your doctors are comfortable with.  Both my girls were head down.  I delivered vaginally 9 mins apart and I wouldn't have done it anyother way.  The TTTS scared me, having a vaginal delivery followed by a section scared me, but when it came time to deliver I went w/ my gut and did what I thought was best for our situation.  Good luck!

  I'm in the same boat.  We recently learned a few weeks ago that they were sharing a placenta (I had transvaginal u/s previously and the u/s tech thought there were 2 placentas- nope!), so my doctor had originally said if both heads were down, she was comforatable with me delivering vaginally.  I haven't asked about it again now that we know they're identical.  I'm curious what she says.
