I bought 3 maternity dresses that I knew I would wear to work and could also wear at my showers.
One is like a sweater dress with a collared shirt underneath it. One is a wrap dress and another one is a slinky grey dress that is really comfortable.
It's long enough, LOL! Mrs.AO cautioned me about that as well. It's a little longer than knee length on the model so I'm sure it'll be fine for me...Here it is...Leelee picked it out for me.

I had two dresses and a cute pants and top...I didn't want to be wearing the same thing in my pictures...I actually only bought one of the dresses for the purpose of a shower...the other one I had already bought the year before and it was empire waist so it worked out nicely. The pants and top I wore to a casual Saturday shower and the other two were Sunday showers and one was at church so I chose to wear the dresses there.
I had a 4th surprise shower and seeing as it was a surprise I had no clue...luckily Wes made sure I left the house in something decently cute so it worked out lol.
That's cute! I actually had two dresses (I had two showers), and I got them both at Mimi Maternity (the only things I ever bought from there!) My mom and I went and tried them on one day after work. I swear, those dresses made my belly look even bigger! haha!
I bought a dress to wear to my church shower, but it was more of a "tea" and I didn't sit in front of anyone and open gifts. I say that bc some people (myself included) might not think about sitting "properly" in a skirt and end up showing what they got.
I wore black pants and a top to each of my other showers, but none of them were at a church.
You already know but...for one shower I wore white linen pants. Got them at Motherhood before I was even close to showing because I loved them and they were $19.99. I knew I would save them for a shower. Went back to motherhood for the cute top closer to the shower date because they had the cute summer stuff out then....And those same or very similar linen pants were $50, so score for me!!
Same shopping trip as the top I bought a long black maxi dress for my second shower that I also took my maternity pics in.
You'll love it! I got it and it fits perfectly! I also got some winter white cords and a blue top to possibly wear to another one.
Thanks, ladies! I'm also having one at work but I'm not sure about the date so I guess I'll have on whatever I wear to work that day....Seems like I have a hard time making up my mind these days...
