1st birthday party- need a place to have it.

LO's 1st birthday is coming up. DH and I both have large families and are looking at 90-ish ppl (including kids and adults). I need someplace to have it. We were thinking of my parents' basement (since we live in a condo) but I don't think we can hold that many ppl even if 20% don't show. Soooo anyone know some places in Macomb county that can hold at least 80 ppl. We thought about a hall but we don't think we can afford that price pp. A clean place is all we need, even if we have to make our own food, we just need some place to have it.

    Cranks Catering has a new banquet facility called Enchantment at 21 Mile Rd & Hayes in Shelby Township. 

    Check out the churches in your neighborhood, a lot of them will have a party room that you can rent that has a kitchen to prepare or reheat food in.

    Try Ike's Restaurant - that's where I am having my baby shower and they have rooms available - no room fee - just a deposit that goes towards your total.

    Thanks ladies for your suggestions. I should clarify that we are on a tight budget, that is why we would like to do the food ourselves and why we don't think we can do a banquet hall...I would be interested in doing a church hall-- but am looking for suggestions on places that can hold that amount of people. 

    Sorry if I was confusing in my original post, I was typing quickly during lunch :)

    I live Downriver so I can't be much help on location but what about a park?  I know it is April and weather could be an issue but try a local metropark and see if they have a pavilion you could rent for shelter.  also, try a YMCA or perhaps your local community center.
