Re: saline nasal drops

  • Yes. My boys are both sick and we have been using the nasal drops before they eat or sleep. They only fuss while we put them in and then they stop crying about a minute or two later. I think they definitely help.

  • Our girls were both congested about a week after they were born and I was using the bulb aspirators a few times a day.  When I told our pediatrician that they were congested, he said it was very common for their age and did give the go-ahead for saline drops also.
  • We've used them. Just a few drops in one nostril, wait a few seconds, sucker all the snot out, then repeat in other nostril. They mostly hate it but it helps.
  • We did.  Just a couple of drops, then use the nasal aspirator about a minute later.  The boys didn't mind the drops, but they hated the aspirator.  Hope everyone's feeling better soon!

  • I used little noses, and keep it around just in case.... they have never been sick, but they get stopped up. Little noses def do the trick
