When did you stop having sex?

Assuming you have, of course...

It's getting very very very difficult, and I'm wondering if it's even safe for keeping them in. I don't see doctor until the end of the week, so I'm wondering what your experience is.

Last time was about 3 weeks ago. Tried last night but couldn't find a comfortable position and it ended in great disappointment for both of us

We stopped at about 32 weeks. At my 33 week checkup I was 4 cm dilated and no longer allowed to play.

Our last time was on Halloween, so it's been almost 3 months. And before that, we hadn't done it since the beginning of the 1st trimester. My husband told me a week or so ago when I made a comment that he's not comfortable with it at this point. The docs have had us on eggshells because one baby is IUGR so we've been going week to week not knowing when they'll be coming out- all we know is the docs think they will need to come early- all of that stress is definitely an anti-aphrodisiac.. I'm pretty round at this point too, so it's probably for the best..

We had very little sex throughout the whole pregnancy, mostly because DH was worried. After 36 weeks we had it a couple times.

We stopped at 34 weeks because I was dilated 3 cm and I was nervous about going into labor. Once I hit 37 weeks, however, we started doing it again in an attempt to induce labor (which never worked, lol)

we stopped at 27w --- that was when I started to get really freaked out about going into labor - because a few MoMs from this board who were due around the same time as me went into labor... DH and I didn't want to take any chances... sex was not worth it for us to have preemies

The day after Thanksgiving for us. I had cramps really bad afterwards, and it freaked DH out. we might try again just bf scheduled c-section in two weeks

OK so apparently Im a slutbag b/c we never stopped haha. Last time before they were born was that morning haha

But I had a very atypical pregnancy with no problems. Girls were born 2 days shy of 36 weeks.

I was wondering the same thing after my DH and I had sex last night. I think I'm going to ask my Drs. about it. It feels better than it before pg for me now and although we don't do it as often, we usually end up having it once a week. I do worry about PTL as a result, so probably will stop fairly soon.

We avoided sex the whole 1st trimester since I was afraid of miscarrying. We only had sex in the 2nd trimester. Since, I've entered the 3rd trimester DH and I were both too scared to have sex and since I was getting big, it got uncomfortable. Now, that I'm having PTL and on bed rest it's banned for us even if we wanted to do it

Poor DH, he's been such a trooper this whole pregnancy.

I must be such a Debbie Downer because I read this post and all I could think was "wow - sex still at 32 weeks!" ....I was trying to think of a way to get out of it now

I just plain old don't feel like it. Don't get me wrong, I love DH and am very attracted to him but I am so tired all the time that's the last thing on my mind.

32 weeks we stopped. no medical reason, just i was HUGE and it was really HOT so i wasnt interested.

Not since the night we conceived. LOL

In the beginning, we were just too paranoid because of a previous loss. Once we got past that point of our previous loss, I was put on pelvic rest because of camping/contractions. In the end both of is are just too nervous that we probably wouldn't be able to enjoy it.

yes, hilarious (as an IVFer i get it)! we dtd ONCE at about 5.5wks, then pelvic rest for the entire pg.

I think I am going to forward this post to be DH. He doesn't understand why I have no interest in sex. Its mostly b/c I am paranoid something bad will happen. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
