First nap in crib - 30 minutes down...

Since we've been home, Sam has been napping in the bouncy seat in the living room with me. Lately he's seemed so uncomfortable in it, since I swaddle him to sleep and he scrunches down in the seat. So, I put him down in the nursery (on our first floor - 2 floors away from our bedroom!) for the first time. He's been down for 30 minutes and I've heard a few squawks but no screaming yet. Yea! He has also started sleeping at night in his Pack-n-play instead of in the snuggle-nest in the bed, and that's been working well too. The goal is to have him sleep overnight in the crib by the time I go back to work in April, so every little step helps!

Yay!!! And it's sooooo much better to start early! With Audrey I started napping her in the crib at 2 months, and she is so great wih it.. The boys I didn't start until about 8 months, and seriously it's only been the past 4 months or so that naps have been good and easy. So, good for you!!
