God, I hate these questions haha I posted about this the other day but things have changed a little.
As of Wednesday I'll have been fighting a head cold/sinus thing for two weeks. At first I felt really, honestly SICK. For the past week or so it's just that I blow my nose a hundred times a day. I considered calling the doctor last week when the discharge turned thick and greenish but the next day it was back to clear! I get random greenish moments and the rest is just clear.
I'm torn because I feel like clear is not a reason for concern and I don't want them sticking me on antibiotics for no reason. But at the same time, I feel that two weeks and still "sick" tells me maybe this isn't going away on its own. Thoughts?

Re: Would you go to the dr?
I'm pretty much in the same position as you. I cannot shake this cold. Had it at end of December and now it's back with avengence. I know that nasal congestion is one of the lovely things 2nd trimester can bring, but my ears are so sore now and my glands are swollen. And, this morning, I started with a cough.
Needless to say, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow because I'm one that gets sinus infections a LOT and I'd rather nip it now than loose sleep cuz I can't breathe!
GL to you!!!!
I had the exact same thing and I saw my doctor (for my regular checkup) during that time. She didn't seem to be concerned at all, and she said that not only do pregnant women get sick more often, but it takes a lot longer to clear up. She did give me a list of medications that were safe to take for congestion (regular Sudafed and Robitussin are ok) but I don't think it's something I would've gone in to see her about had I not already had an appt scheduled. My cold started about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I'm still getting a ton of snot, but every day it gets a little better.
Hope you feel better soon!!!

Add me to the sinus infection club... I hate taking antibiotics because they will give me the runs AND a yeast infection and it always just feels like I'm traiding one misery for another.
My husband called me this morning and when I answered the phone- he asked if I was there... I said yes- and he asked if he could speak with me!!! It's THAT bad!
