How many gallons of milk do you go through per week?

We go through about 1.5-2 gallons a week. Both boys drink whole milk due to their weight. I used to love milk, but as I've gotten older I can not tolerate it. Is this average? Just curious. Do you buy several kinds of milk?

We also go through about 1.5-2 gallons. Up until about 2 weeks ago, I was buying whole milk for DD and fat free for DH. Now, we've all compromised and I just buy 2 gallons of 2%.

1 gallon, DS is the only one in our house who drinks milk. He is on whole milk, but we will switch to skim at a year. DD has never liked milk niether does DH, I like it, but don't "drink" calories so I stay away from it.

1 sometimes 1.5. DS drinks 2%. DH drinks skim (read: water). I drink none and take a Calcium supplement! ;-)

We go through 1.5 gallons, DD is the only one drinking it. Otherwise I use it for cooking.

Same as you, 1 1/2 - 2. We get 1 gallon of whole milk for DS and a 1/2 gallon of 2% for DD. Sometimes we need to go back before the week is up for another 1/2 gallon of one or both.

Close to 3 a week. DH LOVES milk. He could drink a gallon a night if I let him. DS likes milk for dinner and has it every morning with his cereal.

We drink 2%.

We only use 1/2 gallon a week. DH is the only one that drinks it and on occasion I cook with it.

4-5 gallons a week. I buy skim for dh (he goes through 2 gallons alone!) and whole for the kids. I don't really drink milk very much at all, but if I need a little for cereal or something like that then I use the whole- can't stand skim!

2 gallons. 1.5 gallons of 1% for DH and DD1 and 1/2 gallon of almond milk for me since DD2 is allergic to dairy and soy. I only use milk for coffee and the occasional cereal or hot cocoa, I don't like drinking plain milk and never did.

Wow. We go through 1/2 to 1 gallon a week.

DS is not a milk lover, so if I can get 8 oz into him, it's a banner day.

DD is still more of a boob baby than milk. She may go through 8 oz a week.

DH eats a couple of bowls of cereal on the weekends, and I barely drink any-- just use it in cooking.

I use skim or 1% for us, and whole for DD.

We go through 2 gallons per week. My DS LOVES milk - can't get enough of it. We buy 2% for him or otherwise we would drink skim. My DH and I probably each have 1 glass of milk per week and the rest goes to DS.

We only go through 1 a week. DH and I don't drink it, oldest DD hates milk and the two little ones are only allowed so much so it doesn't interfere with their iron levels.

3-4 lowfat milk (1 or 2%). 2 adults 2 kids. we do use lowfat milk instead of creamer in our coffee... but our kids drink a lot of milk

We go through 4, sometimes 5. DS drinks 2 gallons himself (2%). DH drinks it all the time. I use it for my cereal and I have a glass at dinner. We drink fat free. If we go through 5 gallons it's usually DH.
