what time does your 5 month old go to bed?

DS has been wanting to go to bed earlier and earlier. Sometimes he seems ready at 6pm. I know every babe is different and to put him down when he's sleepy (and I do!)...just wondering when everyone else is putting their LO down for the night?

Between 7:30-8, we start getting ready for bed around 7.

Only 4 months but this exactly. She can't stay up past 7, she will have a major melt down.

DS isn't quite 5 months yet but these responses seal the deal -- we are going to be moving bedtime up to about 7:15 - 7:30 -- any later and I think we miss our window. Missing this window leads to a not so good night - hence the reason I am on my third cup of coffee. And to add insult to injury -- he is sleeping like a rock now. . .

She nurses to sleep and usually goes down between 9:30-10. Last night she was extremely overtired, nursed for about 5 minutes and was out at 9. She slept through the night and is STILL asleep.

I think this is a sign that she needs to go to bed a LOT earlier.

DS used to go to bed at 6:30pm, but since DH's schedule changed, he doens't go to bed until 7:30pm. He is pooped from Daycare and falls right asleep.

Our LO is asleep by 6pm and gets up at 6am (not STTN) ... he gets pretty cranky earlier and earlier but I really don't want to put him down any earlier... we're working on longer naps during the day.

Weeknights, b/t 7-8, weekends we let him take a late afternoon nap and he usually goes down around 9.

sometimes he goes to bed at 6 pm too if his last nap of the day is early. we're trying to aim for between 6:30-7, but he rarely makes it to 7.

She's younger- but goes to bed around 9 pm now and wakes up at 8:30 am (with 1-3 feedings). She was a night owl for a loooong time- she used to like going to bed at 1 am and sleeping until 10 am. It's gradually getting earlier, so maybe we'll be at 8 pm by 5 months.
