I guess I never realized these existed. But, in the last few days it seems like I'm getting a postcard in the mail every day for at-home trunk-show parties for children's clothes. (ie, Chez Ami, Shrimp and Grits Kids, Blessed be the Name, etc.)
Have yall gone to one of these before? How do they work? Is it like a pampered chef party where you order clothes and then the host gets a discount or a certain amount of product free?
Just curious. If it is worth it I might consider hosting a party next season. I love all these smocked clothes but I've honestly already bought most of hers online for spring/summer.
Re: Anyone gone to at-home trunk shows for children's clothes?
The only one I've ever heard of is Kellie's Kids. I like the idea of it, but for me...I think of all the great deals I get on clothes either online or in store and its really hard for me to justify spending the $40 on an outfit. You know?
I know what you mean. I wonder if that is one of the reasons people are hosting these parties so much, if you can put in an order for items for free if you host?
I guess that's what I'm trying to figure out.
