Built the cribs today - oops.. How are your cribs?

Forgot how HUGE cribs are!! They take up the ENTIRE WALL! They even block the closet and sliding glass doors a little bit!!?

?

Are your cribs along one wall? If so, are the the long way or the short way? Do you have any pics you can post? Also - what do you have hanging over? I don't want to put anything heavy, I was thinking wall letters like in my daughter's room, but that's a BIG wall for just letters, KWIM??

    Oh, and they will have their names over their cribs, but the letters are still being hand painted. :)

    For a while we had framed art over one of the cribs but I knocked it down one day while changing the crib sheet. :( (Obviously there was no baby in it at one time) so we moved it.)
    Our nursery is teeny tiny and has a sloped wall on one side. We have one crib along each of the long walls, the long way. There's only about 4 feet in between them.

    i always recommend wall decals for over cribs and changing tables- b/c anything else will get pulled down at some point when the child grows taller.

    our cribs are on separate walls - the cribs don't block the closet but the recliner does partially - i can't open the door all the way anymore :)

    We actually have our cribs come out from the wall and the set up works good for us.  Here is a pic:
