Moby wrap?

I was given one yesterday and it says on the front can be used for twins.

Anyone actually do this?

Was it easy? Do you need help to get all wrapped up?

Where did you do it? (just at home or on outings?)

TIA ladies!

Re: Moby wrap?

  • I have a Moby, but never tried the twin hold. To me it seemed like it would be too awkward and I'd be better off just sitting in the rocking recliner with both babies.

  • I'm in the same boat, someone is giving me one, and said that they used it early on with their twins, but I'm sure I'll need some assistance getting it on.  I'm thinking that I'll need to get either a double carrier, or two (one for my hubby and one for me) if we are out and about, walking around a lot.  They are really cute though!

I got a Moby and an Ergo. I really love the Ergo.

  • I had a woman in the shop I got mine from show me and help me to put the wrap on in the twin hold... first with dolls and then with my actual babies.  I tried it when they were around 6 or 7lbs (they were preemies and teeny tiny at first so I was too scared)... it was way too much baby for me, I was horribly nervous and never used it at home in real life.

I did however use it a lot for just ONE baby which freed up my arms to carry the other so it was useful for that.

I used the ergo with infant insert a lot more for out and about because it was quicker and easier to put on, but wore the moby 24/7 at home.

now that they're bigger I still use the ergo every day to help me carry them both at the same time on the way to the car.  I LOVE my ergo
