dd's had a cough for over a week now, Monday night she coughed so much she threw up. We had a humidifier in her room for a few nights and used vicks a bit. She seemed to be doing much better, now yesterday and today she sounds like she needs to cough up some phlegm but won't cough unless we tell her too. Pretty much each time she exhales she does so through her mouth and it sounds like she's doing a really light non productive cough but it sounds like she has stuff that needs to come out. She's otherwise acting fine. This is the first cough she's ever had that we've noticed her doing this. I've given her some honey just a few minutes ago hoping that might get things moving. But is this normal progression of a cough or should we call the pediatrician tomorrow if she's still doing this? I'm thining if she's not coughing up what's there that can't be good right?
