Maternity Clothes ?

If you are pregnant with twins when did you start wearing maternity clothes? Before I knew I was having twins I was so shocked that I already started to show so early but thought it was just because it was my second pregnancy. Now that I know I'm having twins and it's my second pregnancy I can see why I'm already showing but think it's so crazy that my regular jeans are already getting uncomfortable. I'm thinking of getting out my maternity clothes but feel so silly to already be wearing them since I'm only about 10 weeks. When did you start to wear maternity clothes?

    I'm just going into my 11th week and have been wearing maternity jeans for about a week.  Even though I've actually lost weight, I couldn't understand why I felt so uncomfortable... until the twin news on Friday.  So that's my answer, but I too am wondering how soon I'll be "big."

    Pants at 11 weeks (though they were huge on me) because they were comfortable.

    Tops at 20 weeks, but they were huge on me until around 26 weeks.


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I think going into my 10th week I am going to start wearing my maternity clothes. They still feel a little bit but so much more comfortable. Especially the pants. I still have some non maternity shirts that fit but some of my other shirts are just getting to short. It seems silly to be wearing maternity shirts already since most others don't until much later but I would so much rather be comfortable. =)

    I think it was between 8-10 weeks is when my pants became really uncomfortable. Someone told me how Costco was selling draw string and elastic waist yoga pants for super cheap. I lived in those things as much as possible during my pregnancy and after.

    I started wearing all maternity pants about 8 wks. very early but this is my third pregnancy and I tend to show early anyway. No one is guessing about my pregnancy at this point! I look about 25 wks. compared to my other pregnancies.

    I started wearing maternity pants around 10 weeks, and this is my first pregnancy.  I wasn't a huge fan of belly bands, they just were uncomfortable, but I mixed that in with mat. pants for a few weeks until I just totally switched over.  I probably started wearing maternity tops closer to 14+ weeks?

    I'm a triplet mom but will be transition to maternity pants by the end of this coming week. 

    My problem is that mat. pants are HUGE on me but my regular pants are so uncomfortable.

    8 weeks but I was bloated from fertility drugs and hated the bella band. Once you put on that first pair you will never go back

    I hear ya. I have been in maternity pants for like 2 weeks. I own them already, and why should I walk around uncomfortable. It is also a pretty noticeable bump so far!

    I started wearing some by 11 wks and exclusively maternity by 13 or 14. I saw a definite change starting at 14wks and feeling larger every day! I'd rather be comfy than feeling constricted.

    About ten weeks.  Be comfortable, that is the most important :)
