Breastfeeding #2...

Hey Ladies,

I am pregnant with #2. I breastfed DS for ~ 14 months. I plan on using the same pump, but do I need to get new tubing and stuff? This thought just popped into my mind! TIA...

    I didn't.  I thought about it, but decided to just sterilize everything and not buy new.  I never could find out if the older Medela collection bottles were BPA-free (I BF'd DD 2.5 years ago, before everything was labeled BPA-free); the ones on the shelves now say that they are.  We don't feed out of the old bottles anyway, or store milk in them, so we decided we were okay using them, since they are just used to collect the milk and then pour into storage bags.

    i'm not.  i will probably change the membrains b/c i don't remember if i ever did that and i have extras but nothing else.  like pp said, i will sterilize everything again but that's it.  fwiw, i kept all my pump/bottle stuff inside the house in the top of a closet so i would be sure it wasn't exposed to any crazy temp extremes.
