She was part of DD's birthday decor. She's gone flat twice, and DH has taken her out both times to be refilled. Dora is going to be floating in my house for the rest of forever.
maybe when she goes flat again, you could tape/pin her up somewhere less obtrusive, say inside DD's closet door. That way she can "visit" with Dora, but you don't have to look at it all the time.

Sabine is just practicing her "reusing" in reduce, reuse, recycle! You've brought her up so well it is just engraved in her brain. =P
When A came home from the hospital, the balloons lived her room and would scare the living crap out of me in the middle of the night when I went into her room!!
Re: I think this has become a permanent home fixture:
Yeah, and I was really looking forward to cutting her apart and turning her into snack bags. lol
Oh, that's lurvely. Rather akin to the Thomas The Train monstrosity of a (singing) balloon we had in our house for a year.
Note to self - be thankful Dora is silent.
Indeed. Counting blessings is a good thing. lol
haha
I hate balloons so come Feb, C will be sadly deprived lol

I didn't either. Unfortunately, DH is more knowledgeable when it comes to balloons than me.
