Any of you NOT on birth control???

I went back on BC after DD was born, but technically I really don't need it. I am not dating or having sex, so i kinda think it is a waste. I guess I am taking it just for the "just in case." I loved not being on any birth control and and thinking about stopping. Any thoughts???

I'm not. I have PCOS and had trouble getting pregnant anyway. I don't like the way the hormones make me feel, the weight I gain, and I'm not having sex - soooo, it is pointless for me.

I have a Mirena IUD. They put it in at my 6 wk check up. I figured, why not? I'm already here and, who knows, maybe I'll have sex again some day. lol. **Bonus - Much lighter periods**

I got the paraguard after having dd, because dh and I were still together.

Not to mention I got pregnant with dd on bc.

Obviously not right now since I am pregnant but I am not planning on getting on after I have the baby. I'm not having sex so what's the point? When I was on birth control pills I really didn't like them so if/when I go back on I want to do something other than the daily pills.

Well, it's kinda impossible for me to get pregnant right now, so that would be a no. LOL!! Plus I can't get on BC pills anyways due to my liver addenoma. AND I'm not having sex. So even if I wasn't pg I still wouldn't be on any kind of BC. There's really no point unless you are thinking something might happen within the next 3 months, then I say take 'em and get them in your system.

I am not....I had an appointment actually for today to get on the mini pill because I thought the guy that I was seeing and I were headed in that direction, but since he and I stopped seeing eachother I cancelled it. I am not planning to need it anytime soon and if I really need to there are other forms of protection. Plus I am breastfeeding so you can only use certain types. Anyways, in short, no, I am not on any right now.

Nope. I was on it for a year after DS was born and I HATE having my moods controlled by a pill. Stopped taking it in dec after the incident happened.

Interesting fact is that the pill effects who we are attracted to. I read this somewhere and it said that once you stop taking bc, you could be completely turned off by someone that you began your attraction to while you were on bc. Wonder if this is why I loathe the ground that XH walks on? Nah, it's probably because he is a first class douchebag!

I have the paraguard. I got it 3 months after DD#2 was born. However, I am also in a sexual relationship...so BC is a definate for me:) No babies for me until I am in a secure and healthy relationship!

I'm going to say that's false. I was still attracted to the same guy I was attracted to both on and off the pill. More so off the pill. LOL.

No BC for me. Not really needed considering I haven't had sex or even a date since dd was conceived.

It was hard enough to get pregnant in the first place so I prob. won't ever go on birth control. I will just use condoms if I ever find someone to date. LOL.
