Pregnant after a Loss

gender frustration!

I want to know the sex of my baby soooo bad!  I get an ultrasound at every doctor visit, but it's literally only like 2 minutes long, if that, just so doc can check the heartbeat and such.  The last 2 visits he attempted to check to see what the sex is, but gave up after like a minute (baby never sits still).  I try not to get too discouraged because he's the only doctor in that office and there's always a waiting room full of ladies waiting, but I need to know!  I have my big u/s scheduled for Feb. 2nd, so I'm sure I'll find out then ( I'll be 22 weeks), but the suspense is killing me sooo bad I actually contemplated going to the ER last night with some made-up problem, just so I could get an u/s!  I didn't do it, I talked myself out of it lol.  I don't know why I'm so obsessed,*sigh*.

Re: gender frustration!

  • We have a few places in our town that do 3-D ultrasounds.  They offer gender ultrasounds too. It costs about $100.  Hope the time flies by!

  • It's probably hard because you have to wait for so long.  Most ladies know by 20 weeks.

Hang in there,  it will be soon and then you'll know forever :-)

  • Hang tight. Not too much longer.
In memory of precious Julia, sweet baby James, and now Timmy who fought so hard.
