I'm just wondering if mine may need a slightly later bedtime. Bedtime is normally 8pm for both girls, they both wake around 7:30am, the younger one naps one for 3-4 hours or two smaller naps a day. The 3 y/o can nap for 1.5-2 hours but sometimes skips. The reason I wasn't sure about pushing her bedtime back is that she has a lullabye CD that plays when I put her to bed. Probably 6 or 7 out of the last 10 nights she's yelled down for me to put it on again. That means one hour after I put her in bed she is still awake up there. I was thinking of letting her sit and do a quiet craft, read, or watch a show while I put DD1 to bed and then doing DD2's routine to keep her up 1/2 hr later.

bed: 7:30. no naps.and he is out like a freaking light.
if he napped anytime after 3pm for more than 1 hour, he wouldn't be in bed till 10pm, no joke!
if he napped early, like around 12 or 1pm, he would go down around 8:30.
Wake up: 7:00am
Nap: 12:00-3:00 (shortest nap 1.5 hours, longest nap 3hours)
Bedtime: 8:00pm
DS goes to bed at 7:30pm and he gets up between 8 and 8:30am. He doesn't nap anymore. If he does nap, he goes to bed between 8 and 8:30pm.
Honestly, I would just skip the naps with her. When DS would nap (he'd still nap 1 1/2-2 hours), he would lay in bed awake until 10pm or after. So, I stopped the napping and he sleeps much better at night.

DD goes to bed at 7:30 if she naps and falls asleep by 8 and if she does not nap than she goes to bed by 7 and is asleep pretty quick and she is up for the day at 6:30 during the week and a little later on weekends
DD#1 is a few months shy of 3. She wakes 8-ish and goes to sleep 8-ish. She takes a nap some days and others goes without. Its weird, sometimes if she does nap it is 1.5hrs and she is raring to go til like 10pm other times she is still ready for bed at 8/8:30 with the nap and all. I think she is just starting to adjust to needing less sleep.
I'm jealous your little one sleeps so much during the day! If my 15mo old gives me one 1 to 1.5hr nap during the day I am thankful, she has always needed VERY little daytime sleep, lucky me!
DD will be 3 in 2 weeks.
She wakes at about 9 AM.
Naps sometimes from about 1-2 PM. Usually she just sits in her room and has "quiet time" though. She just started giving up the naps about 6 weeks ago - before that she slept for 2-3 hours from 12:30-3ish.
She goes to bed between 7:30 and 7:45. On the weekends, we'll often let her stay up later, though - so long as she is behaving.
our night routine starts around 7 and usually wraps up around 7:45/8:00 (including bath, books, songs, potty, brush teeth).
I would agree that maybe you should go later since she is awake for an hour after the cd starts, however, I would STRONGLY disagree with watching TV before bed because tv stimulates the mind, to the point where it take at least a minumum of 1/2 hour for the brain to relax enough to sleep... having her read (look at) books or do some coloring would be a good thing. Our DD has the leap frog reader thing - that "pen" that she can put on the pages and it reads to her... she LOVES it and is learning from it. It was pricey, but worth it!
Night lights out: 7:45/8:00
Wake - 7:30 usually
Nap - usually doesn't take one anymore, but has an hour of quiet dark at noon.
