Car Seat on sale

Ugh, the car seat that we registered for at BRU is on sale right now for $80 off. It is SO tempting to buy it now, but I know we should probably wait until after the baby shower to see what people buy for us since we really can't afford anything right now! Sales are SO tempting..

    Is it the Britax?  I'm really tempted to get it as well.  We registered for a different brand that was $100 less and just ranked slightly lower for safety, but if I can get the top of the line for almost the same price it seems so worth it!

    My DH always says "A sale does not consitute an emergency." ?I however do not agree. ?Which is why he is over the finances. lol ?I would be soooo tempted to buy it if I needed it.?

    I know what you mean. Our travel system was on sale for $130 off!  We just couldn't pass that up.  Plus, it was the most expensive item we would register for and I don't know who would buy it for us.

    Personally, I'd buy it. How are you going to feel if no one gets it & you could have bought it on sale, since you have to buy it anyway?

    But that's my way of thinking, which sometimes gets me in trouble Wink

    We purchased ours about a month ago the Britax Chaperone.  They offered $100 rebate if we purchased the car seat & stroller.  We also had free shipping from babie's r us, and they threw in for free the second base.  It worked out, I couldn't help it and didn't ' want to wait Smile.

    If you know who might buy if for you...ex: your parents or inlaws....maybe you should mention that you're thinking of buying it since its on sale...they will either encourage you to wait for the shower or tell you to get the deal...then either way someone will get it on sale

    Yes...that's the one. If it were something we'd need immediately, I'd but it. But we are getting an infant seat too, so we don't need the Britax for a couple months. I'm going to mention it to DH though!

    Samething happen to me except it was our swing! Target it had it on sale for $60 which was regular price for $116!! I could not resist! so my mother bought it!! Now I am sooo happy!!
