Sister pissing me off

So, in my family, we have this heirloom bassinet. My Pepere made it in 1975 before my Uncle was born(My youngest uncle is only 3 yrs older than I am). Uncle used it, then my older sister, and me and then all cousins and then my three younger sisters etc.
When older sister had her baby 12 yrs ago, the baby used it and now my other sister has had two kids and they've both used it.
Its cool, I love that type of tradition you know? So, now its my baby's turn.
Oh yeah, with each child who uses it, their name and DOB is carved into the side of it.
Anyhoo, my younger sister who just used it last Aug, put it in storage. My mother has been asking her for weeks now to go get it so she can clean it up and get new sheets etc for it, so she can bring it to my shower which is Jan 31.
My sister is being a jerk and keeps putting it off and when my mom finally got snippy with her replies with "whatever, I'm busy. I have a life and two kids"
Ummmm, I've been pregnant since last July. You've had months to go get this thing out of storage. Stop being a lazy brat and go get it, or send your dang husband to do it. Ew.

What a fantastic family tradition.
Do you think she's just acting out because you are going to have the "special" bassinet now? Or maybe she's just being lazy.
It's good that your mom has stepped in.
What a brat! At least your mother is dealing with it.
If your sister is so busy I would ask her to just give me the key to the storage so that someone else who doesn't "have a life" can get it.
Are you sure it is even in good repair. She may have stored it because she ruined it and doesn't want anyone to know.
Nahh, she's not even using it you know? Plus, we want it to use right away, because I have another sister who is pregnant and due in June! So, clearly, we'll need to get it ready for her shortly after we get to use it for a bit.

This is an amazing family tradition and i am soooo jealous.
She sounds like my husbands sister.. I know if the roles were reversed and my she wanted it and i gave attitude about having a life and kids, she would be a psycho and cry to everyone. Maybe she is just being a lazy butt.. or maybe she just doesn't want to give it up. Either way it sounds like mom is gonna make sure you get it..
