Upstate NY Baby Valentine Exchange?

The original thought was to do a secret Valentine name swap on Elfster between the LO's on the board, anyone involved would just send one card to one LO. I know we get excited to get fun mail from friends and Valentines Day seems like a perfect occasion

I'd be happy to organize and hear any suggestions/preferences- is there still interest? Any thoughts?- one concern would be figuring out if Elfster allows 2 names at one house to be separated for siblings to recieve their own cards.

I'm interested. I have an elfster account from Secret Santa. There are are only a few families with two kiddos.. I guess its up to them.. but would it be completely unreasonable to just have the people who get them send two cards? I wouldn't mind that.. and that way the people with 2 kids wouldn't ahve to send to 2 different people..

Sure- count Justin in! I have an elfster acct from our ornament exchange. I don't know if I speak for all the "only one kid" moms but if I happened to draw someone with two LOs I wouldn't mind sending 2 cards at all

Yay!

Rather than collecting email addresses for the invite I think I can just post a sign up link in a new post for the elfster exchange- any objections to that? I've never done it by that method before so I just want to check...

Valentines day is on a Sunday so should I set sign up deadline for 2/8- names will be drawn the the next day. We should probably have the cards in the mail by 2/11. Settings will be so you can only see your Valentine's address- not the whole groups info.

Apparently 2 people can sign up on the same email address so that would be one way to resolve the sibling issue if necessary.

I would definitely do it. I have never done the ornament exchange because I am awful at going to the post office and I know that I would never get an ornament shipped out to someone on time I know, that's awful and pathetic, but I would feel so guilty if I didn't send it in time. But, I can just put a stamp on a card, so I won't actually have to go to the P.O.

Count us in I have no idea how Elfster works, so just let me know what I need to do.
