Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Almost got walked in on...again!

While pumping that is!

I pump in a closet that can only be opened by a hand full of people (have to have a master key).  I had a guy open the door while in there.  I heard him so I quick pulled down my shirt but it makes for an awkward situation.

Lately I have been pumping in my office (with the door shut) and again needs to be opened by a master key.  The same guy opened the door again.  This time I had not started but I have my pump out and was about to start.  I think he knew what I was doing because he handed me something and quickly left.

  • This guy either has the worst luck or needs to learn how to knock.

I think he has bad luck.  I probably wouldn't have knocked on either door either because #1 was a closet and #2 is my office but I usually have the door open when I'm here.

  • Yeah he should learn to knock. I keep my door at work open all the time but if I close it everyone knows either leave me alone or knock before entering. Its just common respect IMO....

  • Can you put a little sign on your office door for privacy?

if you normally have your door open, then the closed door should be a signal that you don't want to see anyone.

maybe he's a boob man Wink

I could.  I pumped after DD for 10 months and was never walked in on and never had a sign.  I have been back to work and pumping for almost 4 months this time and have been walked in on twice.

  • I am misunderstanding this....He opened the locked door to your office with a key? What the hell?

I leave my office and close the door multiple times a day.  I'm sure he just figured I was out and about.  He had something for me and I'm sure he was just going to set it on my desk but then I was here.  Maybe he will knock before entering from now on.

Yup, his job title gives him a master key so he can walk into any room whenever he wants.  I have a master key too.

  • I pump in our book room/closet at work and I have a little sign that I flip over that's on the door that says occupied.  That way no one will walk in.
